The Gear
Gear doesn't (always) matter.
I've always been a firm believer that gear doesn't matter. If you give a photographer a random camera, more than likely a good photographer can produce the same results with any brand you give them. However, I do believe using the right tools can improve my photography. That is why I choose my gear wisely. I try not to buy unnecessary items. I don't go out and buy the newest and "greatest" camera on the market. Each of my items serves a specific purpose. Not only do I save some money, but this also helps me focus more on improving my photography. I will still read reviews of new cameras or lenses from time to time, but none of that really excites me. Getting outdoors and photographing landscapes is what motivates me. That being said, this page shows all of my gear. While I use some gear more than the rest, each piece is crucial in what I do.
